Started the 4 Heroes of Light back up and just took down the second of the four fiends. It's such an odd ball game but really fun nonetheless.

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I discovered the space shooter "Summer Carnival '92 - Recca" yesterday and I have been struggling with it for a while.
It is probably the most intense NES game I have ever played, it's pretty much bullet hell with swarms of enemies and bullets flooding the screen all the time, and I always die a couple minutes after the second boss.
It is a really fun game though, it's one of those "hard-as-all-hell-in-an-addictive-way" types of games.
It feels a lot like an extremely hard version of Gun Nac, actually.

Resident Evil 2. Its getting....gorier and slightly more difficult now I've reached the lab. But at least it doesn't start out too hard (unlike some games I could mention)
Dark Souls 1. apperently i either go hollow and give up. or git gud and win. those are the words of LN.
its alright.
MM: I tried that on a n64 emu few years back at school, got stuck on first screen. plus PS1 version probably better
About to start a new playthrough of DA: Inquisition
A while ago I randomly started playing "Kirby's Adventure" for the NES for the very first time in my life.
I think I played for about 15 minutes before I got a Game Over, and this happened while I was fighting some giant tree or something;
I believe it was Stage 5.
Anyway, I thought the controls felt slightly unintuitive at first, and I spent some time trying to figure out what exactly I was supposed to do in order to fly and use special abilities, but after that, it was pretty fluent.

That's my favorite Kirbeh game. >: D
I'm currently playing through Emerald Dragon on the SNES. So far it isn't terribly interesting, and combat is silly automatic since I only control the main character, but the story is moving around at a good pace and is a welcome break from the crazy grindfests that were Dual Orb II and Magna Braban.
How do you play all that at one time?
Playing casual Magic the Gathering with friends! Very happy with a 6-2 win/loss ratio yesterday despite being the newbie of the crew!
Thank you ;D
I mostly played a white/blue control deck. It has lots of disables like Claustrophobia/Pacifism to buy time to get some bug guys on the table. Shipbreaker Kraken is my favourite card from this one!
I played two rounds of 1v1 with a slippery red/blue aggro deck; lots of creatures that are hard to block (like Triton Shorestalker) combined with cheap buffs like Infectious Bloodlust. This deck only seems to work 1v1 though and definitely has a time limit on it. It can't go late.
And lastly there's a Red/Green deck with mana boosting creatures like Whisperer of the Wilds, stacking up big creatures and then trample the opponent to death. It does alright when the game is slow but gets destroyed by aggro kinda easily
