That was a very nice riddle, FFIX Choco Boy. I would have guessed the four fiends or Cornelia. Anyway, here's my riddle.

Yearning for you, my dear,
Morning sees us faithfully together,
Never ending is our journey,
Eternity with you will be pleasant,
Over the mountains will go,
Keeping things moving schooling the children.

I am looking for one answer, yes but I also want to know who the children are and who is 'my dear'. As well as the four other things. I will state what those things are only after I get a question about them.

I suppose the four other things are anagrams of the italic, underlined, bold and capital letters. These are (if I didn't miss anything): afewth, omvyle, dgreag, YMNEOK. Haven't found sense-making anagrams yet, though.

The whole thing sounds an awful lot like the Summoner tribe (the children, maybe?) and the relationship between Zidane and Garnet.

Eeks, I must have bungled some of them - I'll be fixing that soon. But your idea of the relationship is spot on.

Edit: Fixed the poem, that should have been an [i] instead of a [w]. But the thought of the anagrams is also correct - you need to figure them out.

Well, going by what Karifean said, I'm guessing a thief and MONKEY are refering to Zidane

I would say Dagger/Garnet is giving the riddle.

It is Zidane who is talking. Think of it as a counterpart/companion piece to the Dagger one I gave earlier.

Choco Boy, Dagger is the one who is being spoken to - not giving the riddle, close nonetheless.

Garnet, and the second verse makes me think of Serah's mother, except for the last line. The "he" part has me stumped. I would not think it to be Serah, but maybe Eiko?
