More FF9 Riddles

I'm thinking it's probably the third line I got wrong, as that's the only one not available during your first Alexandria visit with Vivi, so it sticks out a bit. It might be referring to the kids running around playing games... I'm not sure. I'll guess the first Alexandria visit.

I don't really know how I could get people back here - I think there's just a lack of interest as it is. The best one can do is really to keep the thread active so more people will see it.

Here's my riddle.

Time flows much like me,
I flow from the northeast to the south,
I empty into the sea near a unique forest,
I fall at a point on my journey,
At another point I travel though a mountain.

The answer is a bit abstract. But those who can answer it will be glad they payed enough attention to the game.

Is it the Mist continent river? The one that flows through Alexandria and Lindblum territory, I don't know if it has a name.

Time flows much like me
I flow from the northeast to the south, - Starts in Alexandria, in the northeast of Mist continent. Runs to the south end.
I empty into the sea near a unique forest, - Chocobo Forest
I fall at a point on my journey, - Outside Alexandria
At another point I travel though a mountain. - Near South Gate
