A bridge to azure light
(The azure light is reference to glow of the water in Bran Bal. The bridge to getting to its planet Terra is the Shimmering Isles)
Fiends of foreign nature
(Going along with Terra theme the elemental guardians protect the bridge of the Shimmering Isles. They are foreign in nature as they are references to the four fiends in Final Fantasy IV and they were created by Garland an alien)
Self view
(Also going along with the Terra theme. It's related to the last line as the elemental mirrors are keys to opening the path way to the Shimmering Isles, but they must be placed at the alters of the appropriate temples where the fiends will attempt to stop the party.)
