I was indeed very close to the end. I do feel that $15 US was kind of pushing it for the game, but it was still quite good. I guess if I were to compare it to Braid--the puzzles weren't nearly as brain-busting and the story wasn't as overwrought. Limbo actually has no text or dialogue or anything while in-game. The game starts without any special kind of cutscene, and ends just as plainly.

The game *is* creepy though. Even though I got spoiled on the first 'boss', some of the things involving it still made my skin crawl a little. The cheap deaths were kind of annoying at first, but the game gets over that gimmick pretty quickly. You'll still die suddenly at times, but not because of bear traps hidden in the grass. The checkpoint system is very generous too. So while it had the sense of creepiness, it was alleviated by the fact that dying doesn't set you back too much.

I liked it. Still have a slight tinge of regret spending $15 on it, so one might want to wait a year or so until they have a special discount on it, but I'm glad I played it.
