I will miss Geocities. I will miss the times I searched for porn and stumbled across a site made by a 14 year old girl called Lucy devoted to mittens her cat. Inevitably filled with pink and GIFs of things that turned 360 degress for no apparent reason. I will miss imbeded music that would freeze your screen for an hour while it loaded only to blast some 8 bit drivel when you least expect in & scare the out of you as you frantically search on the page for the pause button (having a stop button of course would be preposterous). I will also miss the 'old man' sites, ya know the ones made by George all about his passion for collecting grit. Yahoo are bastards for closing Geocities.
