I've nominated and voted for plenty of people largely on the basis of before the last six months. As far as I know, that is a guideline that BoB/AG strongly encourages, but I have never heard of a nomination thrown out on that basis. And I've seen a lot of Ciddies.

Why would you nominate those people anyway? If they don't care enough about the forums to visit for 6 months, then it's a fair guess they couldn't care less about the ciddies either.

I actually didn't this time, because some of them had been gone too long even for me. But considering caring about Ciddies beyond amusement/entertainment value is unfathomable to me, I don't factor in to my (very brief) considerations how much my nominee would care about the Ciddie. That logic would seem to say people who only post in the FF forums shouldn't get nominated either.
