Sorry to all those who purchased my nominations, but all deals have been canceled. This is because I just now noticed two of my favorite awards, Best Post and Best Thread, were not included in this year's Ciddies. So now I am officially boycotting these Ciddies.

Best Post and Best Thread are two of the most unique awards we've had. Rather than picking the most popular or lolironic name from a list of GC posters, the Best Post and Best Thread awards actually required you to go back and read some of the most entertaining things posted in the last 6 months. The nominees usually consisted of some fine gems that may have otherwise tragically fallen into obscurity without ever being seen by the majority. They were also the only two awards that guarantee new winners each Ciddies, instead of the same old bunch.

If you value quality posts and threads, what message boards are all about after all, then join me in boycotting these Ciddies.

Make a seperate thread for these awards on your own basis if you so wish. *shrug* People have done that before when their style of awards weren't included.

Status update guys! 34 members have now nominated, pushing total nominations to 1,117. Still, that's pretty pathetic if you ask me. We managed 1,632 in December of 2001, and that's long before this place was in it's prime in 2006 (a whopping 2,733 nominations!). So, with that in mind, get nominating! Tomorrow I'll let you all know who has nominated so far so you can send messages of "love" to those that have not yet nominated! Because everyone loves a message of "love", right? Right? We'll find out soon enough, I suppose!

C'mon guys, I'm looking for roughly twenty more people to nominate if possible, if not more than that. I know you're out there!
