Just popping on the TV on a super-low volume helps me to get to sleep. I don't watch it, I lie down and turn away from it, but the gentle murmur of late night news and infomercials does the trick.

Problem is that I just bought a FlavorWave Oven (a cheap knock-off of one, actually). I wonder if it's having a subliminal effect on me. xDD

Moved to the Lounge~

I tend not to need any particular aural stimulus to relax as long as nobody is drilling concrete nearby or whatever. However, some things work better than others depending on the situation. Sometimes warm and soothing tunes like those of Chet Baker, sometimes the ethereal guitars of Explosions in the Sky. Sometimes classical works best, other times jazz is better, yet other times there's nothing like alt rock. Sometimes any music at all will do, sometimes silence is preferable!
