If someone had asked me a few years back how I could help them with video games, I might have been able to tell you just about everything concerning a game, right down to the bitter details. Publishers, mechanics, you have it, I could talk about it, even if I had never played the game before. I suppose that a few years back, more people were also annoyed with me when I told them such. Little did I realize that to have a proper opinion about something, you need to have at least experienced the situation before.

-- now, I am quite capable of realizing that helping others doesn't mean answering all of their questions. It's all about specialization. It works for non-video game situations, too, but that isn't exactly the point.
Here at EoFF, a forum based around a video game series, we generally applaud those who still dedicate themselves to the contribution of video game knowledge to others. They might not know everything about anything (or at least, if they think they do, they hide it a little better than the rest of us), but at least they can say hey "listen to me, I know the troubles you're going through, let me help you fix them." To be the best, you must learn from the best.
BG-57, Freya, JKTrix, VeloZer0, Wolf Kanno, and Zeromus_X appear to be among the most helpful. I personally, would not know how, but perhaps there is some insight to these people that I have not seen. But the rest of EoFF has seen it! Who is EoFF seeing the most gaming assistance out of?
