It would seem that the signature is one of the most important parts that a user uses to identify himself, in the eyes of the community. In fact, one of the finer things to be learned about rhetoric and formal argument, is that an image is defined by its words, but that the meaning of words can also be defined by the images that accompany it.

Imagine that, that people can know who a person is, based on how they portray themselves! Wow! I mean, someone could ""appear"" to be Christina Aguilera and not actually look like her at all! Wow! Twice for emphasis!
