First Bi-Annual Post-Ciddies Best Speech Award

Welcome to the first bi-annual post ciddies best speech award!

We can't let the Ciddies fun go all away already, can we? People work so hard making such nice speeches, and we want to give some recognition to this hard work!

In this thread, we will discuss our favorite speeches from this Ciddies. Soon we will put up a For Your Consideration post with all of the Ciddies speeches listed (under a cut!) so that you will be able to review all of the speeches before voting.

Basically, this is the form for voting. You vote for the absolute best speech, second best speech, and third best speech.

First Best Speech: (Best Award Speech) - by (Speech Writer)
Second Best Speech: (Second Best Award Speech) - by (Speech Writer)
Third Best Speech: (Third Best Award Speech) - by (Speech Writer)

I highly approve of this idea. We had some excellent speeches this time around, some of which stuck out so much I am already 95% sure who I'm going to vote for the day after the Ciddies even before the FYC post (though I'll look through that first).

Do you want us to simply vote for the award for which the speech was given?

Good question. I'd appreciate the award name and the name of the speech maker. Like "Best Member - Jiro & Timekeeper" for example, if you thought that was best. And then put down "Award - Speech Writer" for the one you thought was second best, and whatever for the third best speech. I'll put that into the original post now. Thanks!

I think an award should also be given to whoever managed to read all those speeches. No, that's probably too easy since you all are a bunch of freaks. It should be given to whoever managed to read every post in the revelation thread. In real time. BoB doesn't count.
