Help!! Does anyone know how to recover deleted emails from hotmail or livejournal from, say, January? Any information would be amazingly helpful. I'm pretty desperate to get them back.

It's not very likely that they're still around. I dunno if they work the same as aol, but for aol mail, it's automatically completely removed after I THINK a month or two.

Well if its emails from a person you could ask the person who sent them if they still have them in their sent box. But other than that theres isnt much you can do.

Unless they archive them or your "trash bin" hasn't been emptied since then, you might be out of luck. The only way to get them back would be to contact the service provider. Even then, I would say it's a long shot.. Sorry
