Probably because people share quite a bit of their offline lives on this forum. And the majority of them seem pretty boring.

When I start hearing stories that involve donkey shows and run-ins with the police, maybe I'll become more interested.
I could tell you stories about ping pongs, coins, razors, bananas, alcohol, and a strippers/hookers toy 'box'.
But those are naughty stories.
As for run ins with the cops, well, I've had my share.
