Thread: TV shows I wish they'd remake

Pink Grin TV shows I wish they'd remake

    Any Brits remember Knightmare?

It was around late 80s/early 90s and was basically a dungeons and dragons style gameshow for kids.

An adventurer wore a helmet that covered his eyes, and his/her three friends would sit in a room giving instructions as he/she made her way around a fantasy world. Everything you'd expect from an RPG in a live action gameshow.

Was cheesy, cheap, and absoutely the best thing I have ever watched.

To see part of an episode check out YouTube - Knightmare: Season 6 - Episode 15 (Part 3/3)

They should remake this with an awesome budget. Anybody think of any other shows they'd love to see remade, either from their youth or modern day?

Always wanted to go on that as a kid.

If they remake it, they should re-run the original aswell, so we can have the best of both worlds.

Also, I'm not sure how they'd do it, but it would be cool to have some of the GYG books be made into a show (it would have to be DVD only though...)

I thought they did loads of those Knightmare like programmes nowadays?

I could never EVER remember the name of the programme I watched somewhere in the world when I was a youngen. Every episode it would have little minutes-long mini-episodes (no, I have no idea what to really call them) chosen by randomly allocated sections of what looked like a comic. Each window had the mini-episode up for choosing..I remember a question mark, and a girl with long pony tails.....OH and two "magic gloves" (washing up gloves of yellow and blue, I think) doing "magic" tricks. . .

Any ideas? XD what a rubbish explanation, and I am aware of it.

    I am not a man

Sounds very much like "Zap!" or "Zapped". Something like that anyway...

(I may be wrong, but the gloves might have been called "handymen" or something similar, God it was so long ago...)

I vote for either bringing back/remaking The Super Mario Super Show (RIP Captain) or Captain N.

I think this only applies to UK, but Mario is now on POP, and Captin N did air on either POP or Tiny Pop (most likely POP), I dunno if it does now.
