I can say from my experiences joining linkshells organized before the actual release of the game that the success rate of these linkshells tends to be lower than you'd think. People go in with a lot of unrealistic expectations of how the group will function and the linkshells end up losing large portions of their member base or falling apart altogether.

Given that we don't know much at all yet about this "company" system which Square Enix is introducing for Final Fantasy XIV, I'd say we're jumping the gun here. I would suggest waiting at least until some more information starts to leak out from the beta (if the beta even introduces these elements) before we start organizing and choosing a name and everything else.
