I went through a phase of (childishly) calling my characters "my *instert body part*". Cloud was "my nose" at one point, and Aerith was "my ass".

Out of context that's odd. I think I nicked that idea from some other clever people on here..how about "my foot", just to make dialogue that little bit more interesting
