    ichigo Plum & Satsuma Handbag

My first handbag. I'd say it's pretty successful! It's smaller than I had thought it'd be, so I'm going to sell it instead of keeping it, but it feels and looks well put together.

The exterior fabric is a plum purple with gold designs, and the interior lining is orange.

This was my first time experimenting with magnetic snaps. They're kind of tricky to install, but add a nice professional touch.

Materials: Cotton fabric, thread, fusible interfacing, magnetic snaps, wooden handles.

Out of curiosity, how much would you consider fair to sell this for? I spent about $15 in materials, though some of them, like the magnetic snaps, came in a set, so I'll be able to use them for multiple projects. I spent about 4 hours on this. I was thinking $25. Too high, too low?

Measurements: Approx: 11.5" wide, and 14" tall (including handles). It is just under 9" without the handles included.

Oh, wow! That looks like a bag in a store, so $25 isn't too high. $25-$30 is a reasonable price for such a fine bag, I think!

I agree with this, it definitely looks like something you would find in a shop, it looks very well made!

It's hideous. No one will buy it. Your only recourse is to send it to me so I can take care of it for you.

Thanks so much, everyone! I took a few really nice shots of the bag, so you can get a feel for the color of it. They're in my Etsy, which is in my sig. I'm afraid to link it, because then ShlupQuack will ban me and use the bag as leverage!
