I watched as she walked into the joint; from the first moment the door opened everyone's eyes were on her, but you'd never be able to guess that she knew it. For the first time in a long time, the old Grand that Dennis used to play wasn't the classiest thing in this place; and all anyone could do was watch and sip their drinks as she proceeded towards the bar. Her blonde hair looked like the stuff that people would use to make silk with, it flowed like a golden river, cascading over her shoulders; untamed, yet perfectly elegant. She was headed in my general direction, and I ripped my eyes away, turning my attention to the glass of scotch I'd been neglecting.
She sat down on the stool next to me, turning herself slightly so that she had room to cross her legs. Boy, she had legs that started tomorrow, and reached all the way to yesterday, and now that she was next to me I knew how it felt to have almost every face in the joint pointed...
I just turned the jazz music off for my own good.
I feel like old school again!

For some reason I feel really relaxed now, how strange.
