FFXIII
So yeah, doesn't this soundtrack just kick ass? FFX was my favorite soundtrack so I was expecting nice things when I heard Hamauzu would be in charge of this one, but wow this soundtrack surpassed even my high expectations.
What is your favorite FFXIII track? I can't pick one. Really there's like, twenty tracks that are my favorite. I'll give a special mention to Feast of Betrayal. The name is a bit unfitting though, that one is pretty upbeat xD
March of the Dreadnoughts always makes me think of the Flintstones.
I mostly found the FF13 soundtrack to be rather miss-able. The only one I really liked was the battle theme. If I could whistle I would probably be whistling it all the time.
I consider it amazing. Hamauzu once again proved himself to be an incredibe composer. This soundtrack is one of the only VGM soundtracks that I've listened to that is actually as artistic as many modern artistic musical pieces (Ragnarok comes to mind). Also, whille I am not a big fan of electronic music, this soundtrack offers some amazing tunes that fall under this category (Will to Fight and The Archlyte Steppe). I did not like the pop elements, though

These are my favourites. Say what you want about the soundtrack as a whole but I reckon it has the best battle themes in the entire series.

Can't listen to those right now to refresh my memory, but as I recall, the battle themes were the only songs in the game I liked. Way too much pop sounding stuff for me over all.Originally Posted by Dreddz
I love how varied the soundtrack was. There was a lot pop as well as jazz and rock. There was at least one track in the game that reminded me of every FF I've played. My favorites were ones that made me think of FFX, FFIX, and the ones that stood out on their own as FFXIII.
Honestly? I found this Soundtrack to be very forgettable. I don't know what it was, but none of the tunes really struck me well. Maybe a replay through will change that though.

I always liked Snow's Theme, I don't know why though, maybe it being a heroish sounding song, and Snow always wanting to be a hero.

What's that song again that plays when the Estheim Residence was assaulted by PSICOM soldiers? It's also the same song that plays when you're aboard the Palamecia about to confront Dysley.

For me, it's definitely Blinded by Light, and Saber's Edge.
