Desktop Thread
It really has been a long time since the last desktop thread. So I guess I am taking it upon myself to start one up, because you can never annoy the hell out of people enough by posting your desktop.
This is mine and I change it about every month or so. I have roughly about 230 wallpapers and I alternate them because they are all pretty neat. I also hide my taskbar.
Postscript: I lack the talent to make witty thread titles.
And I thought I had a lot of desktop images, I only have about 150.

I usually just change the background to whatever game I'm playing the most of at the time. Right now, it's obviously FFXIII. Prior to this, I've had Bayonetta, Cassandra from SC, Lee from Tekken and the BMW M3 from Need For Speed: Most Wanted up there.
I'm envious of all the people that organise their desktops to be so much more than just a background. I can't be bothered.
I had a Matt Furie wallpaper for the longest time and it was great, but this one really reflects the horrible state my computer is in.
My desktop is a horrifying mess. Please don't say anything!

I have changed my primary desktop image once in the past 8 or so years. I can rarely be bothered to put forth the effort to change something that doesn't really need changing.
My background for 6+ years was a DragonLance background with a bunch of Raistlin images. A year or two ago I changed it to this cool looking Suikoden IV background. I expect it to last at least another 2-3 years.

Too lazy to clean it up. Yes I have two IDEs open ya wanna fight about it. I like my wallpaper a lot.
I alternate from complex and simple desktops. I just changed today from a mostly one-color image to this:
I was just being lazy, but FINE. Here is my desktop. I tend to just let stuff accumulate on it until I get to 4 or 5 full columns and then delete half of them since I don't need them anymore.Originally Posted by NorthernChaosGod

Just noticed, what's the second gadget you have on the large screen? I could make use of that. >_>
I like chibis this week! I change my desktop when I'm into a new fad lol. Next week...cows ^_^
