Granted. But you become like Edgar Allen Poe. You're a brilliant artist, but your mind is so dark and twisted that you can only draw disturbing and/or terrifying images. You hang these images all over your various walls and things, causing no one to want to visit your house. And then one dark and stormy night, your latest creation reaches a clawed arm out of the page and drags you to hell.
