(SPOILER)Or you can get an emulator and download the iso....
^And download a save data that's before or around disc 4.
^Well if your ps is chipped to play burnt games you could just burn the iso onto a cd and continue with your current file.
Or just see if you can borrow someone elses copy.

well according to many sources my disc four isn't the only disc to not work on the playstation 3,

Mmm you could just buy the game. Like off PSN. Probably cost like 5-10 bucks.
ahh the problem has been solved, i just dug out the old ps1, borrow me friends save file witch luckily enough was just before i was and did it =) such a relief, now to wait for FF VI to be released on the PSN...... if it ever shall?
