Or you just have to sacrifice a point to make sure you have the potential to get points later on. Having negative points makes the game have a new depth of strategy.

Also cockblocking would still be a perfectly fine strategy. But it will be a double edged sword.

That's not how the game works. Points are earned based on your post and the post before yours.
