Do you think you know mafia? Maybe you think you do because you've done some of the following:

• Disarmed a qwerty trap
• Outwitted Psychotic that one time, even though the other 14 times he figured you out within 2 days
• Realized Gobo is always mafia
• Conferred with your buddies and knocked out a hapless mafia without losing one of your own
• Successfully killed Del Murder
• Foiled Jessweeee's plans so bad that she yelled at you for it
• Got AK to RAGEQUIT
• Figured out DD really wasn't the bomb

Maybe you've done some of those things, maybe you haven't. Either way, it doesn't really matter this time. Prepare for your mafia world to be shattered. That's right, it's time for

This game is for new and veteran player alike. If you previously quit mafia because you thought it was too easy, or that it got too involving, this is the game for you. Mindsmurf will not be easy (as you may have guessed), and I'm hoping that by telling you up front that this is a mindsmurf you will realize that the less you think about it, the more fun it will be. That's not to say there is no strategy, this is mafia after all. There will be a town team, and a scum team, with standard win conditions.

The Basics.

Common Mafia roles.

If you decide to sign up you shall be given a private message when the game starts with a username and password. This will be your anonymous account that you will use to play in the game thread.

Rules specific to EoFF Mafia

• Unless specifically mentioned in your Assignment PMs, all Mafia related discussion must happen in the Official game thread. Please do not discuss the game using instant messengers, IRC, Private Messages, voice chats, phone calls, snail mail etc. etc. No, we can't enforce this because we can't spy on you, but we would appreciate it if you followed this simple rule.
• Do not reveal your role privately to each other. You can of course role claim as part of your strategy in this thread. Just don't do it outside the game.
• Play nice. Even if you are using second accounts, don't resort to flaming and whatnot. Kill each other without resorting to being mean.
• Please make all posts in the Game thread under your specific Mafia accounts.
• Play fair. Also known as the "don't be an ass" rule. Being an ass includes cheating, diverging completely from your assigned role, going back and deleting or editing all your posts, using asshole-ish methods to find out information about other people's roles, etc.
• Do NOT use your Mafia accounts to post in any non-Mafia related threads.
• All of the roles are assigned randomly to a player and then those were randomly assigned to the character.
• Don’t roleplay, it’s annoying. I know it is. Play your character how you want though. There will be no penalty to anyone who does role play.
• Don’t share with others who you are or what your password is or what your role is. This makes it lose its fun-ness. Think for your selves guys! You don’t need anyone else.

Looking for 25 players is an ambitious move, I know, but with this setup the more we get the more fun it will be. It will still work with less players, and even with more I don't expect the game to be too long (read into that what you will ). You may sign up as partners and share an account if you choose to do so.

And by disarming one of my traps he refers to the real trap, not the fake one that I make to bait you into disarming it, triggering the true trap.

3) well he is only mafia unless DD says he is. A small detail people tend to sweep under the rug. Also Psychotic is the doctor, give foa a gun and she will kill everything, and nobody wants to hurt Jessweeee♪, even when she is the serial killer or in the mafia or both at the same time.

That's actually me. I killed nearly as many townies as Mafia and I was on pro-towns side. I got a good laugh out of that, but no else found it funny. I wonder why.
