I love raw red onions in salads, but sometimes when my Mom has extra raw onion to put on a burger, I'll just eat munch on those on their own. Yummm.

Raw onion is awesome but you do need to have a good mouthwash, mint or chewing gum for after lol nothing worse than onion breath save for garlic breath lol

I voted gross, but I wouldn't want to use that word; I don't like them raw, but it's not really gross. It can be good in some foods, but rarely. So yeah, not gross, but not delicious/good, so I rarely ever eat raw onions. ^__~

Onions are gross period. no matter how they are cooked. There is one exception and that is onion rings.
