The gods stood around, preparing for the final days. Zeus appeared and eyed them all cautiously. Then he spoke.
"Nyx, goddess of night, now you will finally experience the eternal darnkess." A bolt of lightning struck her down.

The gods rejoyced for Zeus had saved them, but it was not over yet. Poor Tyche, goddess of luck! Did she not know luck came in two forms? As Nyx's body hit the ground, her hand spashed a puddle. This splash caused a nearby frog to leap onto a low branch, snapping it and causing the bird sitting on the other end to fly into the air. That bird landed on the back of a fierce centaur, and, seeing a bug there as well, pecked him. This spooked him and sent him charging. He charged all the way up the mountain, right to where the gods were gathered. Casually, Tyche stepped aside, and the centaur rushed past, barely missing her. But, unfortunately for her, she stepped right into the puddle Nyx was lying in and some electricity left in her body jolted into Tyche and killed her.
