Loki Harp....
In my second playthough of FF3 I'm going with a bunch of classes I've never tried before, different experience yada yada yada (I miss you Dragoon)
I've finally got to the point where my Bard isn't desperately trying to keep up with the healing requirements of the party and wanted to try out some of the other songs. Supposedly the Loki harp casts Haste, but the sprites turn yellow (haste turns them red) and they don't do any more damage. The protect effect also turns them yellow, but a lighter hue and there is a different harp that does it.
Wtf is the Loki Harp even doing?
