Well this was sad news to hear today.

Director Satoshi Kon of Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, and Paprika fame has passed away yesterday. This was one of the few directors in the industry I really loved and its sad to see his talent to suddenly disappear.

I found a website that translated a final document Satoshi Kon wrote for his fans and loved ones.

I am rather sad about his passing but it was nice to learn he was able to sort out a few things before his death, so he was able to leave with little worry.

For those who don't know who he is, I still say you should read his final words, its not often people get a chance to write down their thoughts before passing and Satoshi wrote a rather moving if not personal farewell letter.
