I had a good first day of school, albeit a sweaty one, because it was like 90 degrees and miserably humid. People liked me in my class and they seem to be hand shakers in this university, which I like because a good handshake is a sign of good character. The professor was disorganized and it made me cranky. Overall, I was happy.
I'm in week, erm, week 6 I think.

CMN130 - Intro to Journalism

So many classes from the communication field this semester![]()
I'm trying out at for a contemporary music spot at WAAPA (Western Australian Acadamy of Performing Arts) in December. It's the hardest music school in Aus to get into though, and it's pretty nerve wracking.
we started six weeks ago and have mid-semester break starting next saturdayclasses:
CMN130 - Intro to Journalism
BUS105 - Marketing Theory & Practice
BUS108 - Intro to Informatics
COR110 - Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship
oddly enough, the two i was most dreading have turned out to be my favourites, and vice versa.
if finding love is just a dance, proximity and chance, you will excuse me if i skip the masquerade
Americans are boorsShaking a girl's hand indeed! Absolute lack of respect, manners, and propriety.
@Rubahs: you should talk to Zach about linguistics ^_^
We get told on the day...which is really unhelpful. I think it will be the same as my old timetable, near enough anyway.
why, peegies?
I like to think I have a good handshake. It comes from going to church and they would have some older men standing at the door way to greet everyone as they came in. They always wanted to shake hands. Sometimes we'd have a visiting preacher, and they weren't good at it. Shaking a soft flabby hand half-heartedly is the worst thing.
I hate it when people have a weak handshake, it makes them look weak. That's about as bad as the guys who have a firm shake but take you by surprise around your fingers so you can't give them a proper shake back. I smurfing hate it when they do that.
