    Default Lovers' Lane

Any places near you still leftover from the '50s? Saddened to say that the last true lovers' lane here (which was an old drive-in movie theater) was closed not too long ago. Drive-in movies. Milkshakes. Cadillac cars. Cheep movies that nobody pays any attention to. Getting laid for a lack of a better word.

I wish I had lived in the '50s...

Yeah, Corona had a pretty stereotypical makeout place. Skyline Drive.

Good times. I miss that truck.

There's a drive-in about a half hour drive from my apartment. It's creepy back roads driving though.

I went over the summer, it was really nice.

I wish I lived in that time, too.

We don't have anything like that around here. Unless I go to Johnny Rockets. I went there once with Huxley and he didn't like it.

    SO I FARTED ON HIM.

Everything in this god forsaken city is from the 50s. I'm going to go get a malt from the carhop.

Ah, those heady days when nukes had to be delivered by bombers.

There is a coastal embankment that is known as 'Devils' Point'.....

A number of cars park there...Sometimes several of them seem to shake from side to side....

When I lived in Utah, Lover's Lane was morbidly nicknamed Rapist Lane.

I miss old drive-ins. I don't even know if there are any where I live now. The 50's were an awesome decade.

I've never been to a drive-in but I've always wanted to go to one. There used to be a lot in Asheville, as well as a lot of really small movie theaters. Now we just have 3 big huge multiplex movie theaters and ... I like them, but it's also really sad. the only cool things we have left is the 2 screen Fine Arts theater and the Brew n View.

    Signature by rubah. I think.
