It doesn't seem fair to me. His beard is apparently well on it's way for having two and a half weeks of growth. Right now he would be the most eligible for one of the prizes.

I think that if someone doesn't want to make an effort to follow the contest rules (ie, shave to enter) then they shouldn't enter.

No offense, Iceglow. We would appreciate your growth, but if you'd really like to enter, you need to shave.

Basically no differenceExcept that my skin is worse and I changed shirts. There is the tiniest bit of hair on my chin and sideburns.

I expect Prootwoot and I to have a mess of hair in a month or two but for you....have you ever not shaved for an extended period of time?

After 3 weeks I'll go beyond the longest time I've spent not shaving (I went camping for 3 weeks)

It's cool I'm not shaving it off unless I seriously mess up my tidy up one morning. However I will say, 1) I'd never ever go all grizzly addams lol and 2) my beard at this time is shaped but not trimmed it's 17 days growth is not exactly trimmable yet (around 20 - 25 days growth and I'll be screaming for the trimmer lol) I reposted the 5th day first shaping shave pic because I figured I'd show how a beard should be grown since the contestants first week images have been pretty poor showing, my 5 days outstripped any of them for darkness, thickness and possibly coarse texture lol (my beard grows like bristles on a brush lol) The second image was posted so people could see what their beards should look like if they could actually grow more than bum-fluff. It'd be simple enough to include me in the competition. I started 8 days early by my memory so simply put I'm like week 2 - week 3 in my pics which means a pic posted by me would need to be compared to the next week's growth period i.e. if Julian posted his second week picture on saturday (tomorrow) it would be compared to my second pic showing my beard posted last week.

I'm not overly fussed either way however. I'm just going to give general tips and pointers and put most of these pups to shame with my broom head chin.

You are not entering this contest unless a) you shave off your glorious beloved beard or b) both Clo and Shlup mudwrestle me at the same time and beat me to get me to change my mind.

Also, I doubt the contestants really care how your beard looks because they don't have to compete against you~

If it's so simple for you to grow a beard and you can outshame everyone with five days of growth, I don't understand why you don't just shave and take them down.

Anyway using a deviously ingeniously devised reverse psychology BS strategy I successfully convinced my friend that I will be going on a facial hair hiatus until the end of the year xD All this from not shaving for a year and lying that 'I forgot because I went to the cottage over the weekend'

So problem solved with the 'dur are you growing a beard ololol' nonsense.

Though the mustache nonsense is getting over hand.

ps: the only reason Steve isn't entering is you won't let him 'style' or 'trim' the hair.

Isn't the point of the contest to just last the longest without shaving? Or is the point to have the best looking beard? I'm confused.
