Starting to get noticed now, which would be fine if I could grow a real beard, but because I have this pathetic mess everybody thinks I'm a nutcase. So I tell them I'm in a beard growing contest and they laugh, and then I tell them it's online and they never speak to me again. It's been so peaceful now that I have no friends

He doesn't showboat. He doesn't mess about. He doesn't make lighthearted posts. He doesn't take comedy photos. It's always the same photo in the same pose with the same expression. It's like this beard contest is his sacred duty, like he's some buddhist martial artist monk or something. Other competitors bow out, but he unflinchingly carries on without a word.

He's relentless. He will not stop. He will not break.

I fear him.
