Vanille is the least sexy character out of all of them. But I voted for her anyway because I wanted to make it a tie. Because I'm a horrible person.

When it comes to Fang, my theory is that by turning Fang from male to female, they may have unintentionally implemented lesbian themes...

i mean she even goes 'we got a new family now' at one point
let's be honest though, shiva sisters was a totally intentional lesbian theme

I personally would see the Fang/Vanille thing as more of an "adoptive big sister/little sister" kind of thing, but, interpreting throught the viewpoints of others, they would think that the two are lesbians, and that originated from Fang's gender change.

Yeah, and I'm still pretty sure that every *actual theme* that is in the game (that doesn't just exist in some fan's mind) is intentional.

They probably should have just made another female character and left Fang a male if they didn't want the resulting lesbian themes. Besides, Fang is supposed to be butch, right, and butch women aren't usually supposed to presented as "sexy." Not saying she doesn't look good, but they should have let her be a male, as was originally planned.

I'm unclear as to where the 'supposed to' comes from. To say they aren't well received is one thing, but I don't think how you can apply 'supposed to' to something like this.

I don't really get why you (SuperMillionaire) have this... i dunno, obsession with Fang being supposed to be male. Do you think they changed her gender by accident? "Hey guys, i accidentally drew two tits on this character sketch, i guess we gotta change her gender now! Hire another female voice actor ASAP!"

Nothing is set in stone during the development of a game. What a character ends up as in the final game is what matters, not how many times the devs changed their mind while making the character. Do you think they intended for Vanille and Fang to be trapped crystal at the end since the first day they started the development? If not, were they "not supposed to be crystalized"? I bet there are tons of things that changed to something different than it started out as. You seem to be making a big deal out of this one issue because I dunno, you think a woman that doesn't act feminine is shocking? She can't possibly be heterosexual because she doesn't act in a feminine manner? I dunno, why don't you explain why?

Definitely close between Vanille and Lightning. If you can rock a massive, somewhat unflattering coat and look hot then you have to imagine what they'd look like in their pool pictures.
