I think almost any meme can be funny with proper use. However every meme can be annoying when misused. It only especially gets on my nerves when used by girls that shoehorn internet memes into IRL conversations because they think that their gender makes them some sort of anomaly.

I was reminded of my other pet peeve meme: "the cake is a lie" . . . It's impossible to talk about ANY cake at all these days without someone quoting that and thinking they're so funny. It's not that funny. Not to mention that game looks stupid.

The only other meme ABSOLUTELY I can't stand is Rickrolling. Okay, everyone who is anyone already knows it's not funny anymore, but people still do it. I wish I could reach into my screen and punch them in the face when they do it to me, because it is just ANNOYING.
Other than those, I find most memes pretty funny.

Yeah, I think most memes are funny when used correctly, they get on my nerves when they're overused though. If I hear, "Hey man, we heard you like forks, so we put a fork in your fork dawg." or something like that one more time...
