I actually quite liked Paranormal Activity. I saw it when a friend hosted a Halloween party and showed the bootleg copy with the original ending (someone described the theatrical ending to me, and it sounded pretty sucky, in case anyone is interested in seeing this).

I absolutely cannot stand gory horror. I just can't look at it. So when something like Saw is on (Saw is super gory, right? I didn't watch.) I spend half of the movie with my eyes shut. Such a waste of time!

I don't know - It might be because I'm sick, or because I let it get in my head, but Paranormal Activity spooked me out at night. I was sick so I woke up a few times, then I kept imagining somebody was behind me/in front of me/at the foot of my bed (I tend to do this regardless of scary movies - I'll imagine something watching me, and in the dark, it keeps increasing in how it manifests in my mind until I start to actually freak out)

I don't like fixing it - it's pretty cool to wallow in non-logical frivolousness.

No other film can do that to me because most hollywood horror has a physically manifested entity as the antagonist, and unless I see the guy/bat/thing in front of me, I won't be scared by such movies.
