Anyone else loving Caroline & Tyler together? My heart was kinda breaking for Tyler when he was watching Mason's videos. That's gotta be pretty horrifying.

Emily, Bonnie, Grams, Katherine's witch friend are all related. Don't know about the new dudes, maybe they're related too? In which case the flirty eyes is kinda ew.
Hoodoo practises were very common among slaves, and that's why I think that all witches so far have been portrayed by African American people.
The whole hoodoo/voodoo culture is actually still very much alive, as my half-sister's family from Gambia are still practising those old traditions.
In any case, I think they've gone about the whole "magic" thing the right way, instead of having some white goth chick throw her emo fits around, they've chosen to actually base their ideas on something substantial.

Tyler's transformation scene was so intense. I haven't felt that intensely uncomfortable in a long, long time. It was heart-breaking, but brilliantly executed.
Watching it right now; Tyler's drinking the wolfsbane.
I love the chains rated for 5000 pounds, attached to him with plastic clips. LOL
Best werewolf transformation ever though. Hands down.
The fake sex scene that was teased in the preview pissed me the smurf off though.
I want to know how Mason got out of his chains in the morning. Obviously Tyler has Caroline, but what about Mason?
Also I agree with Chris. That scene wasn't pleasant.
It was those hardcore plastic clippies. They're easy to undo. Unless you're a wolf. A wolf who, for some reason, cannot slip your paws out of cuffs that are loose on human wrists.
Tyler & Caroline were the heart and soul of this past episode. It broke my heart when Tyler just sobbed that "it hurts". Makes you realize that this is a teenager dealing with all that pain and horror.
Kinda stupid of the gang to trap Elena in her house with no guarantee of keeping vampires out.
