FFIX on PSN

Quick question here. I never got completely into FFIX because by the time I got around to playing it on the PS it was during the current generation and the loading times (most notably for battles) were too long for my trying patience. So, if I download it on the PSN, are the load times faster? I know this is an FF I would really get into, and I hate having missed out on it due to lack of time.

I don't think there are any differences from the PS version at all. I've never noticed FFIX having slow loading times though. ATB bar fills rather slowly, but there's always auto-haste.
