Stills? Secret FMV? Something I've missed?
You know how, if you let the start screen with the FFIX logo go on for enough time, it starts showing you stills of the characters with quotes?
Has anyone wondered where the images for Quina's and Amarant's screens come from?
I can locate all the others - I remember them from FMVs in the game. But these two?
"Memories shape time.
Time overlaps.
The overlap becomes our memory.
Memories construct time."
They were most likely only rendered as stills because they weren't featured in any FMVs in the game (that I can recall). That being said, the Amarant one looks a bit like he's in front of the steeple in Alexandria as it is being attacked.
