That's why I said I didn't recall any, and not a definite no. Hard to remember the second half of that game for me... But, dwarf is a class in III... Except it's also been called Viking, but yeah.

EDIT: I remember the fire, ice, lightning, water stones, or whatever the four elemental stones were, from Conde Petie in IX. Could have something to do with them, because the beware could refer to Hilgigas attacking right after you get them all. Again, just pulling more straws.

the elements are the part that is from ff10 hint the reference is to ff1, but may not have been in the original version
