...and Dissidia 012 tells the 12th cycle, what do you think will happen in the 14th cycle?

I assume the bad guys won all the previous cycles. With that being said, their is no 14th cycles because the good guys finally won. And it took 13th cycles to do so. Yeah, their useless lol.

Okay, just so I'm not confused to the point of brainplosion, which game is going back in time?
How do you go from 13 to 12 to 14? Are you asking about the past expecting Square to release a prequel? Or are you asking about the future? Where was it even mentioned that Dissidia was the 13th cycle. I must've missed that part.

It says so on the Final Fantasy Wiki; Dissidia 012 will tell the 12th cycle, and will explain why the new characters in this game were not present in the 13th cycle that was depicted in the original Dissidia.

The only thing I can predict is that somehow, there may be a way for the current Cosmos warriors to save their former comrades from their individual punishing fates, whatever those fates may be.

Is this supposed to be the only prequel or are they going to go further back in time? I wonder.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

No, this would be a sequel that goes forward in time, with the 14th cycle of battle.
