I like the Job system. Especially since in V you could give the summon skill with someone not so squishy and there's other combos like Sora said.
Summoner Job (III, V)
Only one character (IV,IX,X)
One for each character (XIII)
No limits for assignment (VI,VII,VIII,XII)
