Some strong results in this bracket by Hypo and Vermachtnis. I hadn't pegged Vermachtnis as a contender, mostly due to the fact that I can't pronounce it to save my life. I'm still favouring Whiffles to take out this bracket, with a good finish for Genius Lynx.

I doubt I'll make it through this round, Flying Mullet has excelled in this contest quite a number of times. The outcome of bouts 5 and 6 are the inverse to what I had expected -- I thought Bunny would triumph and Moon Rabbits would be knocked out. I still think this bracket belongs to Pant Leg Eater from the Bad World. If someone manages to knock him off, then I will eat my shoe.

Blues Agent is Mr Reliable, always puts in a good showing. Dr. Acula usually does well too, but has a tough challenger in the form of The Space Pope. My dark horse for this bracket is crono_logical, I have a feeling he'll make it to the later stages.

Mr Twisticles dashed BoB's hopes for the Hobo in round one. If I was a good commentator I'd go and get stats and see who has knocked out the Hobo in tourneys past and see if there's a pattern, but I'm not so I'll just say Mr Twisticles would be my safe bet to take the cup. This isn't a weak bracket by any means though, so look for some tight match ups.

Our friend Mikeneko Rocker -- Tim is of course the favourite in this bracket. I had picked vinnie's mini's to get up over smitkit, but smittenkitten still poses a threat to the other competitors. Citizen Bleys is an outside chance too I imagine.
