I'd say this is too close to call for me. Both worlds had what they had to offer for the player. The World of Balance offered more of a linear approach where we met our characters and saw one plot twist after another occur before witnessing the catastrophe. The World of Ruin was more open ended, leaving up to the player how to go about the progression of the story and how to go about recovering the characters, if at all. I liked the best of both worlds and think that both contributed to the reason why FF6 is awesome.![]()
