If I were homeless, I would steal all the time. What's gonna happen? You get thrown in jail, with a bed and food?

Besides, you don't go to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison for petty theft.
The place I'm staying at is actually pretty cool. They feed me three times a day, I have my own bed, a locker to keep my stuff in, and they're helping me look for a job.
