Default Why did the "Blue Room" become the "Green Room"?

Whenever you're making a movie/TV Show, and you need to create a fake background for whatever reason - you film the actors/actresses in the "Blue Room", and add the background later.

It was later changed to a "Green Room" - why change the color (and it's not just a name, they are actually blue/green rooms)?

All studios I've been to have had green rooms, no hint of blue.

The reason why the color has been switched from blue to green is because light reflects better off green paint than it does off blue paint. But of course, there's no real difference between the two.

If you are interested in more about this check it out here: "The Blue Screen / Green Screen / Chroma Key Page"

Apparently, I have been declared banished.
