Lady Luck

So uh, does Double EXP double the experience gained from an enemy, or just the experience that particular character earns? In otherwords, will only the character with the Lady Luck sphere equipped gain the bonus, or do I need it on all three characters?

Just the character using it. I remember cause Rikku was like 15 levels higher then the other two by the end of the game.
