Kefka's coming, look intimidating!
Have a nice day!!
I actually threw up a little in my mouth...![]()

Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
You could have made all of our days just a little better by not posting that.
If I had played the game, I'd have loved that. But I haven't played it so I was just like "yeah, okay?" I had to check the coments to see what it was - I admire the singer for doing it though![]()
Personally, I find the track very enjoyable. I like hip hop and video game music combined, and some of my favorite albums include Vinyl Fantasy 7 and Ocarina of Rhyme by Team Teamwork.
I believe in the power of humanity.
I wouldn't mind if I actually liked the song but I don't care for the rappers style, it got grating after awhile.

If that kills you then watch this.
Is there something about Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross music that makes it specifically susceptible to being used as a sample for a hip hop song? In any case, the enjoyment of the original song largely overpowers the singer to me. I find hip hop and video game music combined becoming my my favorite type of music. I think it is somewhat odd when people try to rap without necessarily looking the part, though...

That one wasn't as bad as the first one, but then again I could be bias cause I don't hold CC's OST as highly as some fans. Still, beyond some disconnect where he sometimes lost the lyrical synchronicity with the music and just felt like he was preaching with music in the background, this one wasn't so bad.

I was probably being a bit harsh. I actually like the song. In fact, I like both the songs put in this thread. Putting video game music into hip hop videos doesn't spell the end of the world.
I recently-ish realized that Eminem sampled music from a fighting game in his song (actually it's from an ending) I litterally blissed out when I realized what the song was, and aplauded when it was done to show my appreciation towards Eminem, even though it was on YouTube, and he wouldn't have heard me...
I'm with Roogle. I love hip hop mixed with old video game music. I remember hearing all these remixes of hip hop songs with Final Fantasy tracks years ago. They were awesome.
I don't remember this song in Chrono Trigger though so I don't really feel anything other than a generic rap song listening to that.
I like Kung-Fu.
