Melodies of Life makes for an excellent lullaby, but outside of my sleep playlist I prefer Eyes on Me.
Well what if I want to go to bed later? Then I have to delete my vote and switch it to Melodies of Life! It's a situational thing, I don't really prefer one over the other.
I'd say Eyes on Me, just. I love both though.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
I feel like Eyes on Me is more of the type of song that I would want to listen to than Melodies of Life. Eyes on Me seems like it would be more popular to the general population due to its romantic nature.
I believe in the power of humanity.
I like Eyes on Me better because I find it better utilized by its plot. And I love the space scene.
eyes on me
It kinda sucked how my PC didn't play the smurfing song during the game so I was just staring at a boring space scene. Later on I found out you could hear the song by putting disc 3 into a cd player.
This twenty-year-old boy was distinguished from childhood by strange qualities, a dreamer and an eccentric. A girl fell in love with him, and he went and sold her to a brothel...
Both are wonderful songs and beat 1000 words from X-2 to a bloody pulp, although that's not a bad song either. Gonna go with the underdog on this.
Melodies of Life tears me up.
Melodies, but it is close.
Major KH fan, huge fan of TV's Amazing Race and Rodney's Amazing FF Race fanfic!
"Pulse and Cocoon can rot for all I care. If I don't figure out our Focus soon... Vanille's gonna be a Cie'th. I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her." - Fang
Melodies of life.
Emiko's voice is so delicate, yet powerful and mesmerizing (better than Faye Wong imo) and the japanese version of the song is just so perfect. The english version is also great but i've always preferred the original Japanese versions. Eyes on Me is not a bad song but I think it all comes down to personal preference.
Time...
It will not wait...
No matter how hard you hold on, it escapes you...

Melodies of Life. Better vocals, better accent - 'nuff said.
They both are excellent songs...yet if I had to choose one I'd say Eyes on Me.
Choosing between them is hard, but I think Eyes on Me probably has a greater emotional response from me.
