Default Floor levels on the Ragnarok uneven?

I noticed that a door on the second floor and a door on the first floor of the Ragnarok lead to the same hallway.

In other words, you can enter a door on the bottom floor and continue through the following doorways without any elevation whatsoever, and then walk out a door on the top floor. I'm finding it hard to describe what I mean, so hopefully you understand.

Did anyone else notice this? Is it just a poorly thought out design?

Theres probably an unimportant stairway or room in between. It happens with a lot of games where you enter a room walking north and appear in the next room walking south

Considering they design those areas in 3D, it seems likely that they didn't actually forget that there was an elevation change, but that they just omitted the part where the elevation changed.
